Meet Me In the Morning

The time has come to bid Little Red Writings farewell. It's been a wonderful experience documenting the past 4 years and now I'm ready for a change. As I grow here in Portland with my soon to be hubby, I wanted to start fresh. You can now find me over at www.meetmeinthemorning.com. Be sure to update your links!

Thanks for the love and support. Hope you continue to follow along...

Sorry for being MIA!

I have a little something in store for you all. Give me a few days and I'll be back with an announcement!

Kony 2012

I thought I would share what everybody else has been posting on the internet. The more awareness the better! I was deeply moved by the first Invisible Children documentary (almost a decade ago!) and am touched yet again by this film. Please take time to learn who Joseph Kony is. I fully support rallying behind this mission.

Dear March — Come in —
How glad I am —
I hoped for you before —
Put down your Hat —
You must have walked —
How out of Breath you are —
Dear March, how are you, and the Rest —
Did you leave Nature well —
Oh March, Come right upstairs with me —
I have so much to tell —

I got your Letter, and the Birds —
The Maples never knew that you were coming — till I called
I declare — how Red their Faces grew —
But March, forgive me — and
All those Hills you left for me to Hue —
There was no Purple suitable —
You took it all with you —

Who knocks? That April.
Lock the Door —
I will not be pursued —
He stayed away a Year to call
When I am occupied —
But trifles look so trivial
As soon as you have come

That Blame is just as dear as Praise
And Praise as mere as Blame.

Emily Dickinson

I just discovered Kinfolk's blog last week. It makes me want to host dinner party after dinner party! Their images are so pretty and simple. It makes me realize how possible it all is.

Here are some beautifully made videos to inspire you even more!

Hope this post makes up for missing the past two New Music Tuesdays. Here are some songs I've been listening to as of late:
